ASHBURN, Va. – The Washington Redskins have signed seventh-round draft pick Jawan Jamison, a running back from Rutgers.
He was the 228th overall selection in last month's draft after leaving college as a redshirt sophomore.
Jamison ran for 1,075 yards last season, limited by a bone bruise in his right ankle.
His rookie deal was announced Thursday by the Redskins. Jamison is the fourth drafted player the Redskins signed this week, along with linebacker Brandon Jenkins, safety Bacarri Rambo and running back Chris Thompson.
