Ogden, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Weber State's football program is hoping a difficult start to the 2015 season could set up a turnaround this year.

The Wildcats, coming off three straight two-win seasons, will visit Pac-12 member Oregon State on Sept. 4 and then four-time defending FCS national champion North Dakota State on Sept. 12 to open the new campaign. Second-year Wildcats coach Jay Hill and new Oregon State coach Gary Andersen previously were assistants together at Utah.

Weber State will play five home games in its 11-game schedule.

The home opener, and Homecoming matchup, against Sacramento State (Sept. 19) will not count toward the Big Sky Conference standings. The Wildcats' home conference games will be against Southern Utah (Oct. 2), North Dakota (Oct. 17), UC Davis (Nov. 7) and Idaho State (Nov. 21).

"We are really excited for the schedule we have in place this year," Hill said. "The chance to play Oregon State and North Dakota State in the preseason will be great tests for our team and then we have a another really competitive Big Sky schedule this year. We can't wait to get started."
