Jordan Taylor had 15 points and 10 assists to lead No. 14 Wisconsin to a 70-42 win over Wisconsin-Green Bay on Wednesday night.

Ryan Evans scored 14 points and Jared Berggren added 13 for the Badgers (7-2), who took control with a 14-1 run in the first half. Evans and Berggren had back-to-back dunks as Wisconsin scored the first eight points of the second half to build a 20-point lead.

Wisconsin won despite shooting just 3 of 17 from 3-point range.

The Phoenix (4-5) turned the ball over 16 times, leading to 21 points, as they fell to 1-17 against the Badgers.

Alec Brown scored 10 points for Green Bay.

Steve Baker completed a three-point play for the Phoenix to get within a point a 12-11 midway through the first half. But Green Bay missed its next eight shots from the floor and turned the ball over twice on offensive fouls and Wisconsin scored 14 of the next 15 points.

The Badgers, who entered the game leading the nation in scoring defense at 44.5 points per game, held Green Bay (4-5) to their season low in points. The Phoenix also scored 42 points in a loss to Virginia on Nov. 25.

Berggren and Evans combined to go 11 of 16 from the field and the Badgers scored a season-best 36 points in the paint.

Brown eight of his 12 field goal attempts. The 7-foot-1 sophomore had only four rebounds after getting 18 points and eight rebounds at Wisconsin a year ago.

NOTES: Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson drew a standing ovation from the near-capacity crowd when he was introduced during a timeout in the first half. Wilson, a transfer from North Carolina State, has led the ninth-ranked Badgers football team to a second straight Big Ten championship and a berth in the Rose Bowl. . Attendance was listed at 17,076, snapping a streak of 143 straight announced sellouts at the Kohl Center.
