Stars take down Predators

Nashville, TN – Mike Ribeiro scored two first-period goals, 1 victory over the Nashville Predators.

Jamie Benn recorded his third straight multi-point game with a goal and an assist for Dallas, which entered play having lost three of four games.

Gabriel Bourque supplied the lone Nashville tally, while Pekka Rinne surrendered four goals on 30 shots in defeat.

The Predators, who were aiming for a fourth consecutive win, welcomed back captain Shea Weber into the lineup Thursday night. Weber suffered a concussion in the last matchup with the Stars on December 23, absorbing a hit from defenseman Mark Fistric, and sat out four games.
