STRASBOURG, France (AP) — Maria Sharapova won her 22nd title by beating Kristina Barrois of Germany 7-5, 6-1 at the Strasbourg International on Saturday.
The top-seeded Russian was trailing 5-3 but she won seven straight games to take the first set and a 3-0 lead in the second.
Sharapova is looking to get back to her best after recovering from a right elbow injury.
Barrois was playing her first final on the WTA Tour.
