Rory McIlroy might be No. 1 in the world at throwing clubs, too.

McIlroy's frustrations boiled over Friday in the Cadillac Championship when he hit his second shot into the water on the par-5 eight hole, and then heaved his club into the lake. The club rotated like Donald Trump's helicopter and flew some 50 yards into the water.

McIlroy was 1 under for his round when he put the ball and club in the water. He wound up making bogey.

The world's No. 1 player is coming off a missed cut at the Honda Classic. He said Thursday after opening with a 73 that he was frustrated about tentative swings instead of playing fearlessly.

In the first round, McIlroy hit 4-iron on the eighth hole on the green for an eagle.
