Monday's game between the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed because of inclement weather in western Pennsylvania.

The contest will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Wednesday, starting at 12:35 p.m. (et). The teams were originally slated to play the finale of the three-game set on Wednesday afternoon.

Persistent rain has fallen in Pittsburgh, while areas outside of the city have been hit with snow.

The Pirates have pushed back Monday's scheduled starter, Kevin Correia, to Tuesday, while James McDonald will also be moved back a day and will start the opener of Wednesday's twinbill. Charlie Morton will get the ball in Game 2 on Wednesday.
