Colorado Rockies infielder Jonathan Herrera will miss the remainder of the season due to a fracture of his right index finger.

Herrera, who suffered the injury when he shut a door on his hand over the weekend, was put on the 60-day disabled list. The 26-year-old, who is on the DL for the first time in his major league career, hit .242 with three homers and 14 RBI in 104 games this season.

The Rockies also recalled catcher/infielder Jordan Pacheco from Triple-A Colorado Springs and catcher Wilin Rosario from Double-A Tulsa. The Rockies also selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Jim Miller from Colorado Springs.
