The University of Southern California football and basketball programs will learn whether they are guilty of NCAA violations on Friday, ESPN.com is reporting.
The NCAA infractions committee plans to release its findings following an investigation and February hearing in which USC, including former basketball coach Tim Floyd and current football coach Lane Kiffin, responded to allegations of impropriety.
USC previously sanctioned itself for recruiting infractions committed by the basketball program with former star O.J. Mayo. Those sanctions include a ban on postseason play, a reduction of scholarships and forfeiting all of its wins from the 2007-08 season.
The school's football program is facing accusations of wrongdoing concerning former star running back Reggie Bush. It's possible the Trojans, if found guilty, could be forced to forfeit wins from Bush's years there (2003-05), during which the team won a national championship. Bush could also lose the Heisman Trophy he won in 2005.
