Current Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College coach Steve Campbell has an offer to become the next coach at Southeastern Louisiana, according to a report.

Campbell played center at Southeastern Louisiana from 1984 to 1985, before transferring to Troy State, where he won an NCAA Division II Championship.

As a coach, Campbell has won a pair of national championships, the 2000 NCAA Division II title with Delta State and the 2007 NJCAA (JUCO) Co-National Title.

Campbell also has served as the head coach at Southwest Mississippi Community College, and as an assistant at Nicholls State and Delta State. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Auburn.
