Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Homer Bailey is headed to the 15-day disabled list with a flexor mass strain in his right elbow.
Bailey, who was scheduled to start on Saturday, felt pain while throwing on Tuesday and received an MRI on Wednesday that revealed the strain.
The right-hander is 9-5 with a 3.71 ERA in 23 starts this season for the Reds.
