DETROIT (Reuters) - The Detroit Red Wings have agreed to terms with Swedish defenseman Jonathan Ericsson and Canadian right wing Patrick Eaves, the National Hockey League (NHL) team said on Friday.

Both players signed three-year deals and will be under contract until the 2013-14 season, the Red Wings said.

Ericsson's deal was worth about $10 million and Eaves's $3.6 million, local media reported.

Ericsson, 27, had a career-best 15 points (3 goals, 12 assists) in 74 games with Detroit last season.

Eaves, the same age as Ericsson, collected 13 goals, seven assists and 20 points while playing 63 games in his second season with the Red Wings.
