Striker Abdoulie "Kenny" Mansally signed with Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, joining the club after a successful trial. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mansally began his MLS career with the New England Revolution in 2007 but was released by the club on May 4. Real Salt Lake jumped on the 23-year-old, offering him a trial and subsequently a contract.

"It feels great to have the opportunity to play with one of the best teams in MLS," said Mansally, whose first day on trial with RSL came on the heels of the disappointing May 29 loss in the Open Cup. "This organization has been doing really well, for a long time, now they are first in the West. It will be hard to just jump in, but I'm going to work hard, and I'm very happy to be here."

Mansally amassed 89 regular season appearances with the Revolution, tallying seven goals and five assists. He has been capped 10 times by the Gambian national team.
