Real Madrid's Coentrao, Pepe sidelined

Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao and Pepe both picked up injuries in Sunday's surprise loss to Levante and will be sidelined for at least two weeks.

Coentrao suffered a tear in his left calf, and Pepe sustained a tear to his left thigh. The defenders will miss La Liga games against Racing on Wednesday and Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, and Tuesday's Champions League game with Ajax.

Both defenders played in Real Madrid's group-stage opener, a 1-0 win at Dinamo Zagreb. Levante surprised Real, 1-0, on Sunday after Sami Khedira was sent off in the first half.
