New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Rangers agreed to terms with defenseman Brady Skjei on an entry-level contract Wednesday.
The Rangers selected Skjei in the first round (28th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Skjei, 21, registered one goal and nine assists in 33 games for the University of Minnesota this season. He concluded his collegiate career with eight goals and 19 assists in 109 games for the Golden Gophers.
