With all eyes on Clemson's ongoing quarterback derby, defense dominated the Orange and White Game at Memorial Stadium Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers' improving defense forced three turnovers and made 14 no-contact sacks of Clemson quarterbacks. The White team defeated the Orange team 24-5 in a scrimmage that wrapped up Clemson's 2014 spring practices.

Senior quarterback Cole Stoudt completed 15 of 23 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns for the White team. Sophomore quarterback Chad Kelly completed 10 of 18 passes for 118 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Stoudt and Kelly are competing to replace Clemson all-time passing yards and passing touchdowns leader Tajh Boyd. Incoming freshman DeShaun Watson is also in the race, but was sidelined Saturday with a cracked collarbone.
