PSV Eindhoven scored four times in the span of 15 minutes in the second half of its 4-0 thrashing of Ajax on Sunday at Philips Stadion.

The two rivals were separated by just one point at the start of the day and they entered halftime level at 0-0.

But Tim Matavz started the scoring surge in the 53rd with his first goal of the season, which was followed by one from Jetro Willems eight minutes later.

Oscar Hiljemark was next to find the net for the home side in the 64th, extending the advantage to 3-0 before Park Ji-Sung capped the scoring in the 68th with his second goal of the campaign, taking PSV to the top of the Eredivisie, two points clear of Zwolle.

Zwolle sustained a 3-0 defeat at Vitesse on Sunday to drop into second place after the home side got a pair of goals from Lucas Piazon and another from Kelvin Leerdam.

NAC scored three times in the second half to down AZ Alkmaar, 3-0, and Tonny Vilhena's 35th-minute goal was enough as Feyenoord edged Utrecht, 1-0.
