PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi will be out for 2 win over Auxerre, the Ligue 1 club announced Tuesday.

Matuidi, 24, was injured late in the first half and it was later revealed that he suffered "muscle damage to his left hamstring," according to PSG's website.

Capped four times by France, Matuidi will miss the final three games this year but could return for the first game after the winter break against Toulouse in mid-January.

PSG received some good news Tuesday, as 27-year-old striker Guillaume Hoarau returned to training for the first time since having shoulder surgery in early September.
