Russell Powell made only one basket, but was it was the game-winning layup with 7 seconds to go as Jacksonville edged North Florida 71-69 Tuesday night.

Powell was 0 of 6 before breaking the game's sixth tie in the final 7:22. The Osprey's Brad Haugabrook then missed a 3-pointer with 1 second left.

The Dolphins (16-7, 10-4 Atlantic Sun Conference), who have won five of their last six, led by 10 at the 5:32 mark in the first half.

North Florida (9-16, 6-8) tied it at 56 with 7:22 to play, then neither team led by more than two the rest of the way.

Delwan Graham's two free throws with 31 seconds left gave Jacksonville a 69-67 lead, then David Jeune's layup tied it with 16 seconds to go.

Ayron Hardy scored 15 for the Dolphins and Graham and Keith McDougald had 14 apiece in the River City Rumble.

Andres Diaz led the Ospreys with 20 and Jerron Granberry had 18.
