WARSAW, Poland – Poland's soccer federation has hired Adam Nawalka as the new coach of the national team.
The 56-year-old Nawalka succeeds Waldemar Fornalik, who was fired this month after Poland's 2-0 loss to England in a World Cup qualifier.
The federation announced the hiring Saturday on its website.
Nawalka, who coaches Polish team Gornik Zabrze, played more than 30 times on the national team for Poland.
