Isaiah Wilkerson scored 21 points and New Jersey Institute of Technology unclogged its offense in the second half, pulling away to a 65-49 victory over North Dakota on Thursday night.

North Dakota (11-11, 4-2 Great West Conference) held NJIT to 18 points in the first half, but couldn't contain the Highlanders in the second. Additionally, the Fighting Sioux hurt themselves with 24 turnovers, to NJIT's 13.

With Wilkerson exceeding his season average by nearly eight points, the Highlanders (10-12, 4-1) won their third in a row and their eighth in the last 10 games. Wilkerson also made 4 of 9 from 3-point range as the Highlanders snapped North Dakota's three-game winning streak.

Troy Huff had 12 points and Jamal Webb 10 to lead the Fighting Sioux.

Free throw disparities also hurt North Dakota. While NJIT made 18 of 26 from the line, North Dakota made only 5 of 12.
