Thibodaux, LA – The Nicholls State at Oregon State football game that was postponed by Hurricane Irene earlier this month has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1 in Corvallis, Ore.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
Nicholls and Oregon State agreed to cancel the game should either Nicholls make the FCS playoffs or OSU qualifies for the Pac-12 Football Championship Game.
The matchup was originally slated for Sept. 1, but was postponed because of unsafe travel conditions caused by Hurricane Isaac.
The Sept. 1 game marked the sixth time since 2004 that Nicholls has had a hurricane postpone one of its games. This would mark the first time the Colonels have been able to reschedule one of the games.
