Milan, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Sulley Muntari and Keisuke Honda scored in the second half at the San Siro on Saturday to lead AC Milan to a 2-0 victory over Chievo.

After a scoreless opening period, the hosts got off the mark in the 55th minute thanks to Muntari's second goal of the Serie A season.

Honda then put the result beyond any doubt by tacking on an insurance goal in the 78th minute, his team-leading fourth goal of the campaign.

The result snaps a three-game winless run for Milan, lifting the club to 11 points through six matches.

Chievo, meanwhile, is winless in its last four Serie A contests to stay put on four points.

Also in Italy's top flight on Saturday, Hellas Verona improved to 11 points as Panagiotis Tachtsidis scored in the 89th minute to hand the club a dramatic 1-0 victory over Cagliari.
