The New York Mets have recalled outfielder Lucas Duda from Triple-A Buffalo.

Duda, who was optioned to Buffalo on July 24, hit .260 in 25 games with the Bisons. He is batting .241 with 12 homers and 44 RBI in 89 contests for the Mets this season.

To make room on the roster for Duda, New York optioned second baseman Jordany Valdespin to Buffalo. He was batting .242 with eight homers and 26 RBI in 75 games for the Mets this year.
