Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The NFL has disciplined Ndamukong Suh once again, with the Detroit Lions defensive tackle reportedly handed a $31,500 fine on Wednesday for a hit on Cleveland quarterback Brandon Weeden in last week's game against the Browns.
Though Suh was not penalized for the play in question, which occurred during the first quarter of Sunday's 31-17 Detroit victory, the league deemed that Suh made contact with Weeden's head and was subject to punishment.
Suh previously had to forfeit $100,000 earlier this season after he threw a low block on Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan during an interception return by teammate DeAndre Levy in the Lions' opener.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the two-time Pro Bowl selection has now been fined a total of $209,000 by the NFL for several on-field incidents during his four-year career.
Suh was also suspended for two games during the 2011 season for deliberately stomping on the arm of Green Bay offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith during a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Packers.
