Lille downs Caen for first win of season

Caen, France – Benoti Pedretti and Mathieu Debuchy scored in 1, on Saturday for its first win of the new season.

Pedretti opened the scoring in the 67th and Debuchy followed in the 88th, the game-winner after Benjamin Nivet converted a penalty in stoppage time for the hosts at Stade Michel d'Ornano.

Lille has four points after three matches, while Caen is on six points after it lost its first of the young season after opening with two straight wins.

Brest 1, Lyon 1

Brest, France - Bafetimbi Gomis scored in the 69th minute and 10-man Lyon tied Brest, 1-1, on Saturday at Stade Francis-Le Ble in France's Ligue 1.

Benoit Lesoimier scored early for Brest, but after Sidy Kone was sent off in the 61st, Gomis followed with the tying goal for Lyon. Lyon remained unbeaten with a win and two ties after three matches. Brest is also unbeaten with three draws this season.

Bordeaux 1 Auxerre 1

Bordeaux, France - Alain Traore scored in the second half and Auxerre earned a 1-1 draw at the Stade Chaban-Delmas against Bordeaux on Saturday in France's Ligue 1.

Yoan Gouffran scored midway through the opening half for Bordeaux, which is winless with a loss and two draws this season. Auxerre is also winless with a loss and two draws.

Dijon 2, Lorient 0

Dijon, France - Gregory Thil and Brice Jovial scored and promoted Dijon downed Lorient, 2-0, on Saturday at Stade Gaston Gerard for its first win in France's Ligue 1.

Dijon lost its first two matches of the season, but even after Abdoulaye Meite was sent off late in the first half, held onto its third-minute lead from Thil and Jovial added the late clincher. Lorient lost its first of the season.

Nice 1, Toulouse 1

Nice, France - Adrien Regattin scored in the 89th minute and Ali Ahamada saved a penalty in stoppage time as Toulouse tied Nice 1-1 on Saturday at the Stade Municipal du Ray to move atop the French Ligue 1 standings.

Anthony Mounier scored in the first half for Nice, which remained winless and is last in the standings. Toulouse is unbeaten after three games with two wins and a draw.

Ajaccio 1, Evian 1

Ajaccio, France - Kevin Berigaud scored in the 75th minute as promoted Evian remained unbeaten with a 1-1 draw against promoted Ajaccaio on Saturday at the Stade Francois Coty in France's Ligue 1.

Evian has a win and two draws after two matches, while Ajaccio is winless as it has a loss and two draws.
