Leon returns to Getafe

Getafe, Spain – Getafe confirmed on Monday that Pedro Leon will be returning to the club on another loan spell from Real Madrid.

Leon joined Madrid after a standout 2009-10 season with Getafe, but failed to maintain a place in Real's lineup and was subsequently loaned back to his former club.

In 13 La Liga games last term for Getafe Leon scored one goal, and he will be back with his former side on loan again at the start of the new season.

Getafe is unable to buy Leon on a permanent basis because of a lack of financial resources, but Madrid has confirmed that he will be allowed to renew his loan.
