Toronto, ON – The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired defenseman Ryan O'Byrne from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a fourth- round pick in the 2014 draft.
O'Byrne, 28, compiled one goal, three assists and a minus-8 rating in 34 games this season for the Western Conference-worst Avalanche.
The British Columbia native has totaled four goals and 37 points in 300 career games with Montreal and Colorado.
