Brad Keselowski will start on the pole for Friday night's Virginia 529 College Savings 250 Nationwide Series race after posting the quickest lap in qualifying at Richmond International Raceway.

Keselowski, the 2010 series champion, posted a lap at 123.757 mph around the 0.75-mile track for his third pole of the season and the 11th of his career.

Carl Edwards will start alongside his fellow Sprint Cup Series competitor on the front row after turning a lap at 123.170 mph.

Kyle Busch qualified third, followed by Trevor Bayne and Kenny Wallace.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., the current points leader, Steve Wallace, Elliott Sadler, Jamie McMurray and Ryan Truex completed the top-10.

Kevin Harvick, the defending race winner, will start 13th, while Danica Patrick, who will make her first Nationwide start since last month's race in Montreal, will roll off 32nd.

Fain Skinner, T.J. Bell, Casey Roderick, Jake Crum, John Jackson and Jennifer Jo Cobb failed to qualify.

The 250-lap race at Richmond is scheduled to start just after 7:30 p.m. (et).
