The 29-year-old forward underwent the procedure in St. Louis. He is expected to be ready for training camp in September, the team said.

Ladd posted 24 goals and 38 assists in 81 games during the regular season, helping the franchise reach the playoffs for the first time in eight years. He had one assist in four games against Anaheim as the Jets were swept in their first-round series.
