New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Columbus Blue Jackets forward Blake Comeau has been suspended two games by the NHL. .
Comeau received the ban for boarding Detroit defenseman Brendan Smith during the Blue Jackets' 4-1 win over the Red Wings on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old will miss Thursday's home game against San Jose and Saturday's contest at Minnesota.
Comeau has three goals and nine assists in 46 games this season.
