Top seed and defending champion John Isner and wild card Lleyton Hewitt posted semifinal victories Saturday at the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships.

The 6-foot-9 Isner smacked 11 aces in getting past sixth seeded American Ryan Harrison, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 on the grass courts at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Isner beat diminutive Belgian Olivier Rochus in last year's Newport finale.

The towering Isner will meet Hewitt, who earned a 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 win over the 2009 Newport Champion Rajeev Ram, in the final on Sunday.

For the Aussie Hewitt, it's his first final appearance in more than two years. The 31-year-old former world No. 1 and two-time major titlist is gunning for his 29th career title.
