Nathan Boothe rarely missed as Toledo pulled away from Northern Arizona for a 71-58 win in its season opener Sunday.

The Toledo post was 7 of 9 from the field and was perfect (1-1) from long range and the free throw line (4-4) while pulling down a half-dozen rebounds.

Julius Brown's jumper with four seconds left in the first half gave the Rockets a 31-27 lead that they extended to a 10-point margin in the first 90 seconds of the second half.

Justin Drummond and Brown contributed 12 and 10 points, respectively as Toledo converted 23 of 52 shots from the field and was 22 of 30 from the free throw line.

Quinton Upshur led Northern Arizona (0-2) with 13 points, with Kris Yanku and Jaleni Neely adding 11 and 10 points, respectively. The Lumberjacks out-rebounded Toledo 43-38, but got to the free throw line for just 11 attempts.
