Jeremy Hence scored 26 points as Army came back from a 14-point second-half deficit to defeat Lehigh 75-72 on Saturday night.

Hence scored 11 points during a 19-6 run that brought the Black Knights (10-8, 2-1 Patriot League) back from a 54-40 deficit to trail 60-59 with 7:50 remaining. His 3-pointer with 3:03 left put Army ahead to stay, 67-66, for the first time since the opening half and he hit four free throws in the final 24 seconds to help hold off the Mountain Hawks (10-8, 1-2).

C.J. McCollum scored 24 points for Lehigh, including 20 in the second half, and also had nine rebounds. He became the first sophomore in the nation this season to surpass 1,000 career points, getting to 1,018 while playing in his 51st career game.

Nathan Hedgecock contributed 16 points for Army, Ella Ellis had 12 and Julian Simmons 10.

Gabe Knutson had 16 for Lehigh.
