Habs' first goal is scoring a goal against Flyers

MONTREAL (AP) — Scoring a goal — just one at this point — would be a start for the Montreal Canadiens, who are down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference finals after a pair of shutouts at the hands of Philadelphia goalie Michael Leighton.

With that in mind, Canadiens coach Jacques Martin spent much of a 45-minute meeting with his players Wednesday attempting to erase 120 minutes of futility. Flyers goalie Michael Leighton can expect more traffic in front as the series shifts to Montreal for Game 3 on Thursday.

Leighton has stopped all 58 Montreal shots he's faced and is 4-0 since replacing Brian Boucher, who hurt his knee against Boston.
