Patrick Donnelly tossed three touchdowns and threw for 295 yards to help Brown hold off Cornell 42-35 on Saturday.

Jordan Reisner led Brown (4-2, 1-2 Ivy League) with 110 yards on the ground and one score. The Bears have now won nine of their last ten games at Cornell's home field.

Brown held a 35-14 advantage after three quarters, but Cornell stormed back as Jeff Mathews connected with Grant Gellatly on two touchdowns early in the fourth quarter. Brown answered with a 4-yard score by Andrew Coke to push Brown's lead to 42-28. Cornell came right back and scored on a Mathews 2-yard run with 4:33 remaining.

Cornell had the ball with under 2:30 to play, but Mathews fumbled on the first play of the drive to seal it for Brown.

Mathews scored a career-high five touchdowns which tied a school record for Cornell (1-5, 0-3).
