The 35-year-old Zidlicky, a sixth-round draft pick by the Rangers in 2001, had spent the past four seasons with the Wild. He was traded to Nashville by the Rangers in December 2002.

In 548 games played with Nashville (2003-08) and the Wild, Zidlicky has compiled 60 goals and 238 assists. The Czech native has just 14 assists in 41 contests this season.

This will be Foster's third team of the season. The 30-year-old, a 2000 second-round draft pick by Calgary, was traded to Anaheim by Edmonton this past summer. He had a goal and an assist in nine games for the Ducks before being dealt to the Devils in December. This will be a return to Minnesota for Foster and Veilleux. Foster played for the Wild from 2005-09, while the 30-year-old Veilleux was with Minnesota from 2002-09. He played for Tampa Bay the following season before joining the Devils as a free agent prior to this season.
