Sao Paulo, Brazil (SportsNetwork.com) - Federico Delbonis captured his first ATP title after defeating Paolo Lorenzi in the final at the 2014 Brasil Open.
Delbonis, appearing in his second ATP final, defeated the Italian Lorenzi 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. The Argentine lost in Hamburg last year.
It was the first ever meeting between the players, and Lorenzi's first trip to an ATP final.
Delbonis earned $85,900 with the win and Lorenzi pocketed $45,242.
