Crawford grabs first Australian victory

Adam Crawford shot a one-under 69 on Sunday to win the NSW Open Championship by a stroke.

Crawford had four birdies and three bogeys at Newcastle Golf Club to beat out Paul Donahoo after Donahoo bogeyed the last hole. He finished 72 holes at six- under 274 for his first title on tour.

Donahoo, who entered the day with a two-shot lead, didn't have a birdie in the final round and finished it at four-over 74 to finish tied for second with amateur Jake Higginbottom (70) and Anthony Summers (72).

Mahal Pearce (67) finished fifth at two-under, while Peter Nolan (70) and James Nitties (76) shared sixth at minus-one.
