The St. Louis Cardinals activated catcher Yadier Molina and outfielder Shane Robinson from the 15-day disabled list prior to Thursday's series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Cardinals placed catcher Tony Cruz on the 15-day disabled list with a stress fracture in his left forearm and optioned infielder Jermaine Curtis to Triple-A Memphis in corresponding moves.

Molina (right knee sprain) and Robinson (right shoulder strain) both landed on the DL July 31.

Molina enters play ranked second in the National League with a .330 batting average, including a .383 mark with runners in scoring position. Robinson was hitting .263 over 65 games at the time of his injury.
