Canadiens' de la Rose has wrist surgery

Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - Montreal forward Jacob de la Rose turned 20 years old on Wednesday and celebrated by undergoing wrist surgery.

The Canadiens announced that the Swede's recovery time is expected to be three months.

Selected by the Canadiens in the second round of the 2013 draft, de la Rose made his NHL debut this season, registering four goals and two assists in 33 games. He had no points in 12 playoff games.
