Montreal, QC – The Montreal Canadiens claimed forward Brad Staubitz off waivers from the Minnesota Wild on Monday.
The 27-year-old Staubitz has recorded 73 penalty minutes this season, including nine fighting majors, in 43 games.
In 196 games over four pro campaigns with Minnesota and San Jose, the 6- foot-1, 210-pound winger has scored eight goals, posted 18 points, and accumulated 432 penalty minutes.
