Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows was taken to the hospital with an unspecified upper-body issue and will miss Tuesday's Game 4 of the Western quarterfinals as a result.

According to the team, Burrows suffered the injury at some point during a morning practice session and was transported to a nearby facility for precautionary reasons.

The setback occurred less than 24 hours after the NHL rescinded a one-game suspension issued to the veteran winger in the wake of a brawl late in Sunday's Game 3, which made him available to participate in tonight's contest.

Vancouver recalled forward Sven Baertschi from Utica of the American Hockey League to fill the roster spot.
