The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed defensive tackle Gary Gibson to a two-year contract on Friday.

Gibson played in all 16 games -- starting one -- for the St. Louis Rams last season.

A Rutgers product, Gibson has recorded 79 tackles and three sacks in 49 career games (22 starts) with the Carolina Panthers and St. Louis.

The Buccaneers also released defensive tackle John McCargo and waived wide receiver Raymond Webber.
