Browns defensive lineman Desmond Bryant says he's completely healthy and relieved to be playing again after having a heart operation.

Bryant underwent a cardiac ablation on Dec. 6, a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat he had suffered with for years. Bryant twice had episodes in 2013, one which led to him being hospitalized during an Oct. 3 game against Buffalo.

The 29-year-old Bryant, who received medical clearance three months after the procedure, missed Cleveland's final four games last season after he experienced more symptoms.

Bryant finished with 3½ sacks and 45 tackles in 12 games. He doesn't believe his heart condition affected his play, but he was not nearly as impactful following the Buffalo game.

Bryant said he could have continued playing without having the procedure, but said that would have been too risky.
