Malcolm Bell threw for 121 yards with one touchdown and ran for 74 yards and another score to lead North Carolina Central to a 21-14 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday.

With the win, North Carolina Central (7-5, 6-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic) moved into a share of the conference lead.

North Carolina A&T (9-3, 6-2) stood alone at the top of the conference before the game.

The Aggies, trailing by a touchdown with 4:31 remaining in the game, had a first-and-10 at NCCU's 20.Tarik Cohen broke to the 1-yard line where he was met by Ty Brown, who forced a fumble that was recovered by Ryan Smith.

Cohen finished with 203 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles answered Cohen's 35-yard score in the first when Bell hit Jazz King on a 10-yard scoring strike in the second quarter. Andre Clarke scored from the 3 to give NCCU the lead in the third.
