11 pitchers available for O's in wild card game

Arlington, TX – The Baltimore Orioles will carry 10 relief pitchers in Friday's wild card game against the Texas Rangers.

Baltimore will send Joe Saunders to the mound tonight, but Orioles manager Buck Showalter will have several capable arms available in the bullpen.

Jake Arrieta, Zach Britton, Tommy Hunter and Brian Matusz all made at least 10 starts this season and will be available to pitch tonight. The Orioles are also carrying pitchers Luis Ayala, Steve Johnson, Darren O'Day, Troy Patton, Pedro Strop and Jim Johnson.

Matt Wieters and Taylor Teagarden will be the only catchers on the roster for Baltimore.

The infielders will be Robert Andino, Ryan Flaherty, J.J. Hardy, Manny Machado, Omar Quintanilla, Mark Reynolds and Jim Thome. The outfielders will be Endy Chavez, Chris Davis, Lew Ford, Adam Jones and Nate McLouth.
