Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann added another gaffe to a growing list of exaggerations and misstatements Monday. In a web video entitled "I Won't Settle" sent to supporters and the press, the Minnesota representative planned to highlight her "commitment to stand for the conservative principles Americans value most." Instead, the clip will probably be best remembered for a verbal mishap, an ongoing problem for Bachmann since her victory at the Ames Straw Poll in August.

"We see that our nation is on the ropes right now," Bachmann said, "on the ropes economically with very high employment." Her prepared remarks, which were also included in the email, show she meant to say very high "unemployment," not "employement."
