NUKU'ALOFA, Tonga – In a story Nov. 25 about elections in Tonga, The Associated Press reported erroneously that nine nobles in the country's parliament are appointed by the monarch. The nine nobles are elected in a secret ballot by the country's designated noble families, not appointed by the king.
