Strong storms will develop this afternoon and evening from the Midwest to the Great Lakes. Many rivers across the Midwest are at moderate and major flood stage still, so additional rainfall across the region is falling on saturated ground.
Wildfire conditions across portions of the West and Southwest remain elevated today.
